The monthly kits come with a technique as the theme, and each box has a newsletter explaining the technique. Limited edition "vinyl cling" rubber stamps are also included! You now pick which components you wish to add - beyond the basic paper & technique kit. Club SEI - (Obviously) sponsored by SEI and all kits contain only their products. Kits alternate monthly between a "mega" and a "mini" kit. Mega kit contains 12x12 paper packs and embellishments to complete several pages and/or an included project or album. Mini kits are a smaller assortment and have a direct application to a smaller project or gift-size album. Previews are available before selecting your kit. Subscriptions can be for only the mega kits (as I chose), only the mini kits, or the whole shebang. :) There is no timed membership agreement - you can cancel anytime. Members also get 10% off all purchases and the SEI store. Monthly Housecalls Kit by Heartstring Designs - Their web site is still under construction and lacks a lot of the details of other clubs, but the kits are really something to see. Many of the kits I have so far have a mat board embellishment set - literally cut out of mat board with tilted edges as you'd see on advanced frames. This is what sold me on the kits to begin with. I hope it keeps coming! Your membership agreement runs a minimum of 6 months during which you must purchase at least 3 kits - i.e., you can choose not to get 3 during that time period if you so desire. Each kit comes with specific instructions/photos of layouts should you wish to use the designs provided. This is part of a home-based structure. . (Price: $19.99/mo + tax + S&H)

2 Croppin' Cousinz- This group carries three different monthly sets 'o' goodies. There is a 12x12 kit, a monthly ribbon jar (coordinating with the 12x12 kit), and a 6x6 kit. There is no subscription required and ordering is done month-to-month with the help of a "preview" of the coming kits and projects. 2 Gals Scrappin' - This monthly kit out of Canada offers a "Full Kit of the Month that includes 6 shades of Bazzill Cardstock (2 sheets of each), 5 or 6 Patterned Papers (2 of each pattern), add-ons such as stickers, die cuts or rub-ons, ribbon or twill, several embellishments such as brads, eyelets, buttons, snaps....etc., and a new adhesive every month." An Angel's Art - Business owned by freelance artist who designs each month's kits by hand! A Page in Time Scrapbook Club - Kit contains enough materials to complete at least 6 pages organized as three separate page kits and extras to complete a few cards. Club Scrap - One of the original monthly clubs. Papers and stamps are made exclusively for the club. Monthly kits seem to be more "vintage" in nature and would be great for those doing altered books. This club comes recommended from another scrapper who was very satisfied with the value of the kit for the price. (Price: $24.99/mo + S&H)

Coordinates Collections - This company offers a choice of two different kits each month. One kit seems to have a more antiqued feel whereas the 2nd is a bit brighter and more colorful. There are also options for monthly add-ons and extras. Got Embellishments? - How cool is this? This monthly kit offers embellishments ONLY - letters, flowers, chipboard, you name it! It looks like a lot of stuff and a lot of fun for a good value! (Price: 1 mo. = $25 + S&H; 3 or 6-mo. = $20/mo + S&H).

Homegrown Scrapbooks - This company offers two different levels of membership: (1) Hybrid Crop Club, with a mixture of papers and embellishments based on a theme and a "spotlight company", and (2) Trilogy Club, offering a mixture of different papers and embellishments of higher cost (Prices: HCC = $25/mo + S&H; TC = $32.00 + S&H).

Jenni Bowlin Studios -Two kit types are available from this nationally-known teacher! One is a Paper Crafting kit that includes a wide variety of coordinated papers, embellishments and tools from a variety of manufacturers or suppliers; the listing explains that the key to the kits will be variety and utility. Kits N' Bits (New listing May 2006) - Although there is NO SUBSCRIPTION available, this site has multiple themed kits for 12x12 pages (with ideas) and/or mini albums. They also offer pre-made layouts for those with limited time! :) From the owner: "Our goal is to bring you quick and beautiful 12x12 layouts and mini albums that will take the guess work out of designing your own pages. Each kit is pre-designed starting at just $10.99, and includes color photos and explicit directions." (Prices vary from around $10.99 to around $30 depending on kit contents)

Scrapdango- This kit contains a wide variety of single and double-sided patterned papers and matching cardstock as well as additional embellishments. Kit commonly contains a tool and application for the tool as well. ScrapHype (formerly Boundless Memories) -Kit purchases and on-line shopping are based on a point purchase system ($1= 4 points). Points are purchased each month and will roll-over each month if unused. Different membership levels will be offered (Currently $25, $35 and $40 every 6 weeks). Designer Delivery is the product kit available every 6 weeks - the members will have the option to choose individual pieces of the upcoming kit or purchase the kit as a whole (1st come/1st serve). ScrapBrats - This group's kits include all the materials needed to assemble two (2) pre-designed 12x12 layouts and a separate card or embellishment (including a color photograph and directions). The monthly kits focus on the current months holiday, season and usually include one layout that is non-gender specific and generally more family oriented so it can be used by different kinds of scrappers. Storytellers - This club has a monthly theme based on the season or holidays. "Ultimate" kit has a larger set of papers and embellishments than basic "Seasonal" kit. Club stuff is packed in clear protective folder to go in a scrapbooking bag also offered by the group (You get the scrapbook bag for free if you commit to a 1 year subscription.) Sweet Pea Scraps- Each month's kit contains "12-14 patterned papers from the most sought after names in scrapbooking, 10-12 quality cardstock from Bazzill Basics, and a variety of coordinating embellishments, fibers and ribbons." The kits seem to have a single paper company theme with embellishments either from that company or another that coordinates.
